Try in an around Traverse City - out on Old Mission peninsula, or on South Union Street near 11th street.

Marquette Michigan, in the upper peninsula is a fantastic place to find old and new stone houses. Due to the abundance of sandstone, there are some really beautiful buildings here, espicially on the East side of town.

There is severl stone houses in Lakevill and Davison
