Yes it does. Try to forgive them and work it out first. But cheating is the only reason divorce is allowed in God' eyes.

In the Old Testament, persons caught in the act of Adultery were stoned to death. In the New Testament, the Scribes and Pharisees brought a women to Jesus and were preparing to stone her because she was discovered
in an adulterous act.
They had their stones raised and He told them,""He that is without sin cast the first stone"".
One by one, they dropped their stones and left. Finally when only the women and Jesus remained, He told her ""Go and Sin no more"".
Cheating causes a lot of pain, but if you are willing to forgive your spouse,
and this person has expressed sorrow, then consider the forgiveness. .
If this is a habitual situation, you might want to move on

Yes, it does. Forgiveness, although difficult. You must remember we are all human and tempted. We are all sinners. Some peoples sin is cheating which is unbearable and often difficult to forgive, others is gossip or stealing... all are sins all are equal in the eyes of God. If Jesus can forgive, so can you. You need to turn to Him for help. Bless you and sending hugs at this very hard time.

Jesus himself said you have the right to divorce if your spouse cheats on you...it is the only reason for divorce according to the scripture because marriage is defined as the holy union between a man and a woman to produce Godly children. You are never permitted to have sex outside the confines of marriage. This is called adultury. Unmarried people having sex is also adultury.

The bible is crystal clear on this, just read Leviticus:
Both parties in adultery shall be executed. Leviticus 20:10
If a man has sex with his father's wife, kill them both. Leviticus 20:11
If a man "lies" with his daughter-in-law, then both must be killed. Leviticus 20:12
If a man has sex with another man, kill them both. Leviticus 20:13
If you "lie" with your wife and your mother-in-law , then all three of you must be burned to death. Leviticus 20:14
If a man or woman "lie with a beast" both the person and the poor animal are to be killed. Leviticus 20:15-16
A priest's daughter who "plays the whore" is to be burned to death. Leviticus 21:9

Actually Cheating is the ONLY thing that the Bible supports for you to get a divorce.
Of course you have to try to forgive and forget first from the bottom of your heart but if that doesn't work, then you have the only excuse supported by It.

Well, you can forgive them, but if you do that, and have a sexual relationship again, you have lost the right to divorce and remarry SPIRITUALLY. God wants us to be forgiving, and to stay with our marriage partners... but if one has been the innocent victim of adultery, you have the Biblical right to divorce and remarry without a problem with your spirituality. ( 1 Corinthians 7:10.11 and Matthew 19:9 ) Keep in mind that none of this has to do with secular handling of the situation!

According to Jesus, grin and bear it. The Bible doesn't offer any consolation for women whove been cheated on. They're below men in God's eyes. Sorry. The Bible was written by men for men. Sucks doesn't it?
