ouch, ok equal parts sudsing amonia and household bleech, mix together quickly outside. start with small equal parts until you have the mixing down. the outcome will be a stink bomb. depending on the amount, heat and a large amount of rotten egg, sulfer gas, will be lingering.

You need:

- a load of firecrackers
- a flat rock about 6" diameter by 1" thick or so (not too heavy)
- a newspaper
- a rubber band
- a pencil or pen

Spread out three sheets thick of newspaper - full layout. Open the firecrackers and empty the powder into the middle of the newspaper. The more you empty, the better.

Carefully place the flat rock on top of the powder. Gather up the newspaper to capture the rock. Place the pencil in the middle of the gathered paper and twist the paper around the pencil until you have a "handle" of sorts. Secure tightly with the large rubber band.

What you have is a giant percussive cap. To detonate, find an empty street (you need asphalt or concrete). Stand in the center of the street, and chunk this device straight up in the air, and run like hell.

As the device reaches its apex and begins to descend, the "handle" is now a fletching that turns the gizmo rock side down. When this baby hits the pavement, its like the hammer in a cap gun hitting a cap (only much bigger). The resulting "boom" is quite impressive.

You will break windows with this if you're not careful...

Do you really think telling this guy (or anyone else asking similar questions) how to blow things up is a good idea?

BTW:
The fireworks thing might work, but you risk blowing yourself up, causing fire damage, and probably going to jail. Is that really worth it?

Mixing Ammonia and Bleach is a STUPID thing to do. The end result is usually hydrazine or chlorine gas. These are not to be taken lightly and can cause permanant and serious heath effects. BTW, using a product against is labeling is also a legal risk and could also end you in jail.

(I doubt NCl3 results but the rest of the link data looks correct to me)

To the asker of the question: I can understand your desire for an impressive show, but think carefully about what you are asking. And, never take the advice of someone who tells you how to blow things up, as you can see from the two answers you got, your healh could be put in consderable danger.

One last suggestion, isn't there anything ELSE you could do to impress your family?

no longer a bad article in any respect...nonetheless it would have been extra useful in case you had in simple terms published the link. Soemthing that many in the anti-Islam crowd forget is that there particularly are people who're attempting to take the religion out of the arms of the extremists. regrettably the extremists are lots extra in all probability to hotel to violence than they are.

My good friend from high school blew his hand off one night playing with a homemade firecracker.
