Many arguments are that Congress does not affect them much... they state that local and state government is the most impt to them, so how do I get them to care about the Senate and the House of Representatives, and what they do??

Politics are a joke. If I knew with 100% certainty that a major part of NASA and big defense spending would be cut out, I'd take time to vote. I'm 45 and have never voted. As before, way too much BS involved. My .02.

Put them on MTV. I think as things get tougher here people may realize that the only way to fix the problem is to take their right and IMO responsibility of voting seriously.It is sad when collage kids know which stars are having affairs but can't name their vice president (Mike Savage proves this point when he does his man on the street).
