i have had 5 misscarriages the doctors dont know why.ive been divorced about 6 months and have been dating someone else for about a month.He has mentioned that he wants children in the future just in casual conversation but i didnt tell him about my problem because i thought it was to serious of a conversation for us just dating.my concern is that if i tell him he will think im trying to get serious to fast and trying to pin him down but if i dont tell him and he falls for me it might hurt him when he does find out what do i do?

Surprise- You don’t have to have kids. Yes, you can choose not to. Are you surprised? (I’m not trying to be rude, I am trying to make a point).
Tell him. I odn't think you will hurt him. If he is so lame that he can’t handle it, then find another one. Don’t sweat it.

Does he know you are divorced? If so, it must have occured to him that you both maybe wanted children. If thew conversation comes up regarding the divorce, you can put in that a lot of stress came about when you were trying to conceive and had 5 miscarriages. You are just telling him the past and not coming out directly with this information and this helps you look like you aren't after him for the long haul. Good luck. Also, those miscarriages could have been from your partner and stress. This one may be different.

I wouldn't say anything about kids for a while, take it slow, see what he does and how he acts around you, and if he is still around after 3-4 months, then tell him that you've been having problems with that, and you certainly would like to try again, but you don't want to hide that from him. I am sure he will understand that you didn't tell him about it right away because it is non of his business right now, he just met you.

Actually have a friend who went through similar situation.
She opted not to say anything to him. They eventually were married and when he found she could not have children he bolted out of the marriage.
Just food for thought......

It sounds serious enough if he saying he wants kids one day. Tell him now so you guys can decide what is best nice and early instead of getting in deep and then telling him.

take your time with this man and, if things get serious, then you must tell him. In the meantime, don't rush ahead with the unnecessary.

you don't have to carry a child for 9 months to love them. there are plenty that need love
