How did this question get in the religion section?
We Yanks have always had immigration. We are a nation of former immigrants. It keeps us strong, and tough, especially since even light American welfare programmes tend to ruin so many long-term citizens and make them lazy and no-good. Always another round of immigrants comes in, many without permission (Wop, the old derogatory epithet for Italian immigrants means With Out Papers.) They work their tails off to make it in a new society, and, through good money management, working constantly, forgoing immediate gratification, and starting their own service businesses, they climb up through our free enterprise system and become a part of the mainstream.
The problem is, since the red tape and bureacracy of legal immigration in the US is too cumbersome, and the politicos are too wimpy to effectively address the illegal immigration, we don't have any record of who is coming over the border. In the past this was not a big problem, see above. Now, however, we can't tell the difference between terrorists and those who come to work. A solution may well come too late if no one does anything about it, but our politicians are too spineless to address this extremely serious risk.
I'm not sure about the UK. Is unemployment high there? It is very low here, thanks to good tax policy. In most of the EU, the immigrant situation is very different from the US. Ridiculously over-generous EU social programmmes, and high unemployment in most of the EU, (France for example), combine to create a witches brew of high immigration, no jobs for these immigrants, and squashed incentive to work. That witches brew is what sets the EU immigration problem apart from any minor problems we have here with "honest" non-terrorist immigration, i.e. those who just come to work.

Only the ones who come to take advantage of a free society,then crap all over it.
They come ,they refuse to assimilate ,learn the language,scoff at social norms, even laws.
Blair & Bush( asshole ) should take the lead of the Austrailian PM
& tell them to get with the program or leave.

yes, well, when you go about spouting equality, liberty, and justice for all, you should make it clear that those apply to WHITE PEOPLE ONLY. that way, those damn colored ones won't see "equality, liberty, and justice for all" as an invitation to come to your country. make sense? so who are the idiots now eh? and as for the brits, that's what you get for centuries of invading other nations---it's payback time i dare say. hehehe...

you are to. i though everyone comes here. . do you give them homes for free to.how about your language are they trying to push theres on you to.they have definately ruin florida. the beaches are trash they dont take care of there homes garbage all over. just dirty people. and that crappy music we have to listen to
