You have the flood happening around 5,000 years ago. The Native Americans, etc. began crossing the Bering Strait approximately 10,000 years ago. So, yes, if the flood happened 5,000 years ago, they WOULD have been in the Americas.

If they were around then, they would have been wiped out.

But yes, if they were not around, then history needs to be rewritten, because the Native Americans started coming over to North America around 10,000 years ago.

I'm just speaking from opinion here.......

But at that time I don't believe those culture were in existence. It wouldn't have been for several centuries till those culture would have begun their existence.

However the Bible is pretty clear that everything except Noah, his family and the animals on the Ark were wiped out.

Genesis Chap 9 v.8-11
8 Then God said to Noah and his sons, 9 "Now I am making my agreement with you and your people who will live after you, 10 and with every living thing that is with you -- the birds, the tame and the wild animals, and with everything that came out of the boat with you -- with every living thing on earth. 11 I make this agreement with you: I will never again destroy all living things by a flood. A flood will never again destroy the earth."

hope that helps

No, the Aztecs and Mayan societies disappeared well after any reasonable time estimate for the flood. The Native North Americans are still around, although many tribes were wiped out by the europian expansion.

No. Their civilizations came into being after the flood. In the days of Peleg, Noah's g-g-g-grandson is when the earth was divided and the continents came into being. These people would not have been in this area until that time.

The bible account in Genesis chaps1-8 tells us that the flood was global, and the only survivors were Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives, and the animals that were on the ark.

There is no historical or geological evidence to support the theory of a great flood in the americas, other than the last ice age.

If they were destroyed in the Biblical flood, how is it Europeans killed so many of them after arriving in America?
