brainwashing 'forcible indoctrination into a new set of attitudes and beliefs'
Once one learns of Christianity, they make the decision for themselves as to whether or not they believe it. Ususally if they do, its because they've had a spiritual awakening.

this is not any longer the finest, even though it does have an ingredient to that to it. maximum hardship-free college training (a at the same time as 6-12) really in "social study," it is historic previous and authorities, emphasizes nationalism. The limey above is ideal that we do say the Pledge each morning and performance flags in the college room. personally, i imagine it truly is fantastic. Societies and governments require a particular element of "purchase in" by using the polity with the intention to operate with stability, and figuring out on which historic events to educate and how you placed across that counsel is a ordinary part of that. became the prehistorical agricultural revolution fairly a reliable ingredient? Anthropological information exhibits no, yet we universally imagine shifting from hunter-deliver at the same time to farmer became reliable for the human race. became the business revolution a reliable ingredient? perchance no longer, with urbanization and its attendant issues which incorporates ailment, pollution, crime, and so on. yet yet again, we settle for that it became because it truly is the way it became portrayed after we were 8 or 9 years previous. You under no circumstances understand as a baby how contentious the adoption of the US structure fairly became, nor do you fairly get a threat to allure to close how life-replacing Watergate became for American politics. this is all part of the plan to coach little ones to be reliable voters. there are a kind of arguments to no matter if it is a reliable concept, I have a tendency to have self belief it really is, so long because this is countered with a hefty dose of intense questioning in intense college and faculty. this is more desirable ideal to question and create replace in the political structure, in my innovations, so long because the shape is fairly open to because fluctuate. this is different once you're coping with a totalitarian regime, i imagine, yet it truly is fairly no longer what we are coping with the US, even with what the foil-hat donning nut jobs would say.

I'm sorry, you are mistaken, God loves me and Jesus Christ will save me and perhaps you....
I kid, you're totally right, it is not only brainwashing of the highest order, it is also criminal to instill this nonsense into children's heads. Kids should never, ever have to make any choice concerning religion until they reach the age (could be fourteen, eighteen fifty-two, who knows?) where they can decide for themselves if they want to believe Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, or whichever wives' tales they want.
People have this ridiculous notion that morality and religion are not mutually exclusive. Hence, the apparent "need" to educate kids in the ways of the Lord. F**king load of s**t, if you ask me, seeing as to how some of today's most insane murderers (Bush, Sharon/Olmert, as-Sadr, the BJP) are all religious and, if I am not mistaken, highly immoral in what they say and do.
But then again, what do I know, I haven't even accepted Christ.

For people raised in it, maybe. Not all of us were raised in it.
I myself never heard about God until I was 16, and researched it for myself when I was 20, and again when I was 26. I feel educated, informed, and not controlled at all. I dont attend church, and disagree with alot of the fundemental views. DOnt assume all of us are brainwashed from birth.

A true Christian and believer has developed their beliefs from the Bible and praying to God. I was born and raised by a strict Catholic family that made me shun religion for many years. Only reading the Word and talking with God did I want to come back and truly praise Him for all He has done for me. God bless.

Your parents brainwashed you when you were a child by telling you to not touch the hot stove.

I just don't see how telling a child that he will be tortured in hell for ever and ever if he does not accept Jesus is a form of brainwashing. :)

4 month fast forward and we still haven’t changed you ..:P great but I do agree though... society and parents should wait til a kid is old enough make the choice himself and we shouldn’t be born into religion but we should choose em ourselves...that would certainly make more sense ..!!
