life partner though that sounds kinda gay, significant other is a big one. By law your a common law, so I see no problem calling him your husband, the only difference in my eyes is a piece of paper.

that's good question, my husband and i are in our mid 30's and it is a bit 'childish' to call each other boyfriend and girlfriend......especially at that age and both of us having been married prior to our relationship, I was so glad when he proposed, then I could call him my fiance'.
