You know, I used to think that it did. It hurt like hell most of the time. Then I met the man of my dreams and it's all good. I know there will be times when we have our differences, but true love over comes those. And even if we fall apart, I hope we'll still respect each other enough not to intentionally hurt one another.

I don't know, maybe I'm just too happy in love at the moment (thank God). Good luck.

They say love doesn't hurt. Today I've thought about love & how I have been in it & hurt by it so many times & being married for 14 years that I have a numb feeling toward my emotions. So for me I would say that love is not what I thought it would be.

Yes, it really does hurt. I don't care how thick-skinned you are the person you love can say something to you and hurt you to the core.

When you love someone you feel so lucky to be with them but you constantly wonder if they love you as much as you do them.

At times it does. Overall it's a beautiful thing. The hurt which may happen will always be overshadowed by the good times. That's a sign of true love.

and yes, love does hurt...but its a good hurt....no nothing sexual...b/c in order to feel the hurt that love produces, you must first feel the greatness that love produces.
