Why did he want to exterminate Canaanites? It was not their fault that they happened to live in the promised land. They worshiped wrong gods? But so were 99% of earth population, and again, how was it their fault if he did not reveal himself to them?

I have a better one than that. Why would a loving god flood the entire planet because of his displeasure with a few humans? What would killing all the buffalo, lions, tigers, bears, squirrels and horses accomplish? They had nothing to do with the evils of mankind. I just don't get it. My conclusion is that I want nothing to do with this god. Period!
