k so me and this guy have been going out for about a year now and well he was suppose to go out with me and my friends on Sat, but he never showed up and i didnt hear from him till yesterday (4days later) and whatever he asked me how it went on sat, i told him i had fun bla bla bla....then he asked me "u pregnant yet?" i laughed and said no, he goes "why not? we should change that" i just laughed. i mean i sooo do want a kid specially one from him cuz i love him, but anyways, he started asking me if i was tired of the whole going out, drinking scene and i told him well its ok, it is gettin a lil old, so he asked, so u think u want something different in ur life? i was like well like what? and he goes arent u tired of always doing the same thing and bla bla dont u want something new? and i said well i guess yea. then we were both quiet and he tells me we need to talk and i was like "about what?" so he was like "about us" sooo yea now i dont know if its gonna be something good or bad =( what do you guys think??

Don't let him talk you into having a baby until your ready. I don't know how old you are, but really give this issue some thought. Why do you want a baby so bad? Please don't make the fatal mistake that allot of People make; having a baby will not improve your relationship. If anything, it's going to make it harder. Raising a child together is not an easy thing. Most moms and dads have different ideas on child rearing, and until your sure you guys are prepared, don't rush into it just because he wants you too. If anything should happen and you guys break up, you will be left with the majority of the work. And raising a baby alone is a hard job.
The only way to find out if it's good or bad is to have the conversation. It sounds like he might be ready for more of a commitment, but then why did he avoid you for 4 days? If your really serous about starting a family, then honesty and openness is key.

He either wants to:
1. Get you pregnant
2. Marry you and then get you pregnant.
If he wants #1, tell him no. Those things never have a good ending. He loves you now, but that can change in an instant. Don't be left holding the bag or the baby.

Sounds like he's ready for a commitment. Possibly marriage, maybe just moving in or getting engaged. Doesn't sound negative from the precursor questions.

BAD... it's always bad... he sounds like he's using your love for him to gain control over your behavior... forget about babies, take care of yourself, make sure that it'll work for you two... then think about babies a couple years after that... babies are a life-long commitment that, unlike marriage, you can't divorce yourself from...

you need to continuously talk to your partner even if it is bad. sounds like he has some issues with you and you with him. get them all in the open.
