I was invited to a party in the city tonight (I live in the suburbs and don't often go downtown). I just recently met the guy invited me to the party and I'm not sure if I should go. Also, I don't know the area of the city the house is at very well. So, should I go tonight, or should I stay home where I know I will be safe and sound, and not at risk for violent crimes??? ; )

Do what you think you should do. Yes, you could stay home - safe and sound. Then your not living. Your not always safe and sound at home. Things happen - live alittle!

Sounds like you might want to postpone this adventure until you know the guy better- maybe have some daytime dates in the city so you'll feel more comfortable. A guy you just met, at a party in an area you don't know, at a house you've never been too doesn't sound like a safe idea.

I suggest you stay home tonight and get to know the guy better before you go out with him at all.

Most decent guys would make arrangments to pick you up if you were going to a party with them but, if you don't know him very well that might not be a good idea either. Being alone in the car with him might not be any safer than going to a strange part of town alone.

Stay home and if he is really interested you\ll get another shot.

well, if he seems like a nice guy and all than go. if at all possibal take a friend with you. that way if you dont click with anyone youll still have fun. and free food and drink. so i think you should do it. but if you have any kinda bad feeling, dont. it could be wrong but its better to be safe than sorry. if you dont go than invite this guy to a lunch date, that way the next time he has a party, youll know him better

I would go, however, I would ask a girlfriend to go along as well. Since you are unsure of the area or the people whom are going to be there. And keep your drink with you and covered at all times. Be safe. Have fun. God bless****

Lemme just say I can fully understand where you're coming from. I'm having a similar dilema, only it's an "Adult Party." I'd love to see what you decide with this invite. Keep us posted!

do you trust him to take care of you and get you home after the party?
also, do you want to spend a whole evening in his company?
sounds like you would feel more comfortable until you get to know him better if the two of you went out somewhere local instead?
I'd be inclined not to go: if he really likes you he'll take you out somewhere local another night.
