Here is the deal, I fell for a girl that I work with about 8 months ago we hit it off and really love each other now here is the problem she has been with a guy for 8 years on and off and he is a real unkind guy. He has shattered her windshield a few times and has a really bad temper, and pretty controlling. He has his own place now but they do not live together. She wont live with him because they will fight to much. We have been doing this now for 7 months and have tried being friends and it didnt work. We see each other when we can, but I am getting worn out, she says she knows what she wants to do but doesnt know how to do it. I am a really sweet guy and she said she is not use to that and she loves me for that. Right now we see each other a few times a week. I just dont know what to do, will she ever leave him, what can I do to help that happen? By the way our ages are im 23 she is 21 and he is 21.

This girl will probably go back to him. So women need the attention that this kind of abuse provides. They love the drama and the ability to complain. For some it's a neverending cycle.

To find out the answer to your question lies with the girl.. you are going to have to tell her that it is you or the other guy. The only thing you are doing is adding drama.. and I don't mean that in a bad way. If this boyfriend of her's is so bad, she will leave him. Alot of times, girls like the attention of 2 men, and if she leaves him to be with you, that attention will be gone.. Tell her she has a choice, and then stay away. I know it will be hard, but it will help you from getting hurt in the long run. Please don't fall for the I am not used to sweet guys.. Sounds like she is getting her cake and ice cream to.. Good luck!

You should let her deal with her problems and end this relationship before starting one with you. She is having her cake and eating too! Be her friend and nothing else, until she works out her life, or yours could become very messy!

Run away! Run away! Sounds like she is a manipulative little drama queen. You should be with someone who appreciates you, not someone who strings you along and uses you.
