The treaty of Versailles after WWI pretty much bankrupted Germany, beacuse along with complete surrender, Germany was to pay for the bulk of the war reperations to France, England and the United States...well, Germany in a an economic depression, where a wheel barrell worth of deutsch marks pays for about one loaf of bread, talk about inflation! So along comes this charismatic leader who holds to fascism, and a hope for the Proud Germanic Culture and future, He offers them this hope and does just as he says he would do. Fascism is a very cost effective way to rule a government compared to democracy...there is no congress, judge or jury, it is a decision by one leader...very cost effective and efficient, but the one absolute thing about human nature is that absolute power, corrupts absolutely...

The stupid Versailles Treaty Germany was forced to sign by the even more stupid victors at the end of the war. If it had not been Hitler then someone else, but someone would have come along to do what had to be done. Regrettably it was that total SOB Adolf. By the way, why did the US get involved in WW 1? Certainly Germany was no threat to America.

Germany lost the war.
US president pretended such hard peace conditions for Germany causing a big crisis, and preparing the field for Nazi's grow.
Italy won the WWI, but was almost excluded from the main winning powers, and the points of London pact were not respected(a lot of territories had to pass under Italian control, in Balkans, especially places populated by Italian people, and a third of Turkey had to become Italian but French and British divided Turkey in 2)
So in Italy started to grow the myth of "mutilated victory" because Italians fought, suffered and won, but they obtained nothing.
So in these countries there was a desire of redraft preparing the field for totalitarianism's.

Just stick round for a pair years and spot what occurs once we pull out of the core east. It created a risky economic system disenchanted public and a vigour vacuum looking forward to a opportunistic dictator to step in. Mussolini was once a follower as was once Hirohito. Do both of the ones 2 appear like "the grasp race"?

The depression, which was caused by both the war guilt clause and the reparations clause forced many people to desperately seek something within society that would bring economic stability and hope.
Fascism seemed to be their answer. Its strong leaders and national pride helped people regain a sense of self dignity and hope for a brighter future.
