Burn the fuel completely. the amount of CO2 is not a problem as the green plants take the CO2 in and give u back oxygen. Nitrogen oxide is a partial problem but is removed very easy with water. CO is a problem and deadly and needs to be burned in an after burner. Also on the CO2 is also the beginning of recycling our fossil fuels. Where do u think the original fossil fuels came from?
Toxic spills
Many chemicals can be neutralized by this technique.
HCL bad acid
Caustic soda bad base.
Mix these 2 together and strive for a ph of 7 which is salt. these 2 Base components have been changed to simple table salt and water.

A cause of this could be toxic colonialism. This is when a more powerful country will take over another country to dump it's waste, or try to experiment with new tactics to dispose of waste, with some failure.
A Solution- Don't pollute 3rd world countries and try to level the playing field of all nations in an effort to equalize the world and reach an equilibrium of globalization.
