When clicking the middle button on the upper right hand side of the program toolbar, the window should become smaller and allow me to change the size of the window. One program that I have - when I do this (click the Restore Window button), the whole window disappears. It is still in the taskbar. The only way to get the window visable again is to "Maximize" from the toolbar. Then, the window opens and the window size is not changable. Anyway to fix this issue?

Have u pressed accidently anything on ur keyboard that could make that happen? Sometimes, if ive just had loads of windows up, my computer flickers the icons on the desktop for a few seconds... maybe its a sign of over running the computer cause it doesn't have enough RAM to do all the tasks

With windows xp, you can go to a previous restore point if it's set up. You can also go to a web site to have your computer checked for free. "www.pcpitstop.com". You can test anonymously if you like. It might be ad-ware or spy-ware messing up your computer.
