About a month ago I had 2 rear eclipse speakers installed in my car, and about 2 days ago they blew out. I have 2 polk audio speakers in the front, and they are starting to go bad, but I got those like 8 months ago. Does anyone know if there are any really high quality speakers out there that wont blow out easily? Does it matter what kind of cd player you have, cause I have an eclipse player. Does it matter if you have an amp or not?

I would go with any of the Infinaty Kappas. I just put 2 pairs in my Element with a Rockford Fosgate Amp to power them and they ROCK!!!!!

all brands are good they are always bring out new more advanced speakers .it does matter if you have an amp you might have it up to high. an audio system is a habit.hear it for a couple of months and you want more .if you have it professinaly installed they will adjust the amp to it proper specs that go with the speaker brand and watts it handles.

Boston acoustics
Kenwood excelon
MB Quart
Pioneer Premier
Diaomand audio
Eclipse (not the low end stuff you buy at cirut city)

good luck., and i hope you dont buy anything else from CC or Best buy, cause i hope you now realize, all they sell is junk. go to a private audio shop, and listen to the brands i listed.
