What does it mean if someone says they would love you if they were single?
after saying they thought you were gorgeous and thought that at the start of the ear and still do now. if they were staring you right in the eye when they said it and placed their finger on your lips when they said it and said they thought you were lovely what does this mean i kinda feel on instinct he is in love with me but he is a good loyal sometimes ones body language can say more than word it this a fair assumption he has only been dating this other girl long distance for a month. Also when i talked about n ex he got jealous and said 'what about us' im confused help me out. no abuse please

Yes, I agree with everyone else.
He is smart and a manipulater (player)
He want's you to make the effort and the first move, so later aferwards (which i hope you don't do anything with him), he could blame you for it, and not feel responsilbe.
If he loved you, he would be with you. If he can't give up a one-month-long-distance fling for you, DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL LOVED AND SPECIAL????
p.s. but my instinct is telling me you'll do something stupid, which you will regret, and then learn from your mistake.....
