Ok here's the scenerio....I'm in a fairly new relationship (5 months) and my boyfriend is somewhat of a whiner. Any time I go anywhere or do something w/o him, he gives me the 3rd degree. Note his last relationship, his last gf cheated on him and I have never cheated on him. Any way, I think it has a lot to do with his own insecurity, which is literally driving me nuts. It almost makes me feel like I have to walk on eggshells to even hang out with my friends. Every single time that I have gone out with my friends, he constantly calls and texts me the whole night to try to ruin my night. For the most part, he is a good guy and does nothing but respect and adore me when we do spend time together. Help, how can get this whining to STOP before it drives me insane.

I cannot tolerate whining.

You cannot change anyone but you.

It is 5 months only into this thing and he is making your world smaller.

I don't think this relationship is going to make it.

sorry

wait until he matures? he is full of insecurity and lacks trust..that is impossible for you to cure for him, he will have to do that himself

i know that feeling.
just talk to him about trusting you, and if there's no trust, this isn't a real relationship.
he needs to be able to trust you.
