yea, sweetie, that's life.
I am in the end-part of this same situation.
1. just know that with TIME, you'll get better.
2. see it for what it is: a LEARNING experience, now you know what to do and what not to do in your next relationship.
3. cut off ALLLL contact with the person. this was the only way i really started healing from being hurt. (also, why hold on to someone who HURTS you?....just to be hurt again and again??)
4. go out and meet new people. really. this helped me move on soooo much!!
good luck, hun, from the bottom of my heart!!

Begin trying to forgive them Anger is directly proportionate to hurt. It is never easy to lose someone we love but it is a fact of life. Don't spend anymore time alone than is necessary.Stay around upbeat people and get funny CD's to watch at night. Laughing is great therapy. These are good things to learn about handling sad times. Use it as a time to explore creative ideas to handle this type of situation and it will take away much fear about getting involved again.People's feelings change. Let him go and wish him well even if he was a jerk. Send him a short polite note and thank him for your good times together and tell him you agree that it is time for both of you to move on.This puts you back in the driver's seat. You don't imagine him seeing you as a victim. None of us want someone to feel sorry for us. It's insulting and that is what makes the hurt more intense. You simply cannot guilt someone into love that is no longer there. Hold your head up,never compromise your values for anyone, and in time you will meet someone else. God Bless you and Merry Christ'Mass.

I've had my heart broken one time when I was 14. I loved him and he broke up with me for no reason. I honestly don't think that I have ever gotten over him. I'm 20 now and i would date him again. I think that you should just move on and get another boyfriend. That's what I did. It does help to just get someone else.

Only if it was as simple as that, you can never get over someone that hurt you, especially in the future you will be more aware of what happened and a little more strict with what happens in the relationship.

You get over them by taking life one day at a time. It will hurt for awhile but after awhile, life goes on (it really does) and each day you'll hurt less and less. Just breathe and take it one step at a time.

I know what you are going through. I had gone through the same thing so I went to the kitchen made a sandwich, grabbed a brew and turned on the game.
Tada! Felt much better then.

That is a tough one. Don't bottle your emotions up. Let your emotions pour out. Time will heal all wounds...meaning it will take time to get over the person.
