This happened to me once with a small piece of a broken plate. The dish cracked while I was eating, and STUPID ME... I just kept eating. So, a small piece of porcelin from the plate scratched the hell out of my esophogus, but the Dr said they only recommend to drink some fiber and eat bread and milk until it passes... But Id still go to a doctor, if you tear your lower intestine, you will die.

I'd go to the emergency room ,or see your family doctor! and if possible take the broken bottle so they can measure how big a piece it was. When they take x-rays. I'd rather have an expert opinion on glass traveling through tissue to be sure. Or are you going to be able to physically inspect your own "poop" for the next few weeks to absolutely make sure it passed. It would be important to be sure.Did it have a pointed edge? Take care!

Definitely call a doctor for advice. He or she may advise you to go to the emergency room.
As a side note, if you ever have an emergency where you feel that time is of the essence, DO call an ambulance. It might be expensive, but it's the quickest way to actually get seen treated in the ER.

Go to see a doc. Like the nurse said this could be life threating. I wouldn't advise calling EMS b/c all you are gonna get is a big "taxi" bill. Besides, all you get is maybe an IV or saline lock.

Eat some white bread, dry. It will surround the glass and allow it to pass. Worked for me with all sorts of surprising things over the years.

Everything will be fine, but you need to call the emergency services. It will all be fine as doctors can deal with this easily, but you must get medical attention, *now*.
