No worries Neato lables are fine, ensure you press then down firmly onto the disk. I've copied hundreds of the things family occassions DVD's CD's etc no problems. Other option is to get a lightscribe drive they are quite funky -
Panasonic, Sony, JVC players don't have a problem - modern players a very versatile these days.
Neato is cheap and does the job

Recommend that you don't put any stickers on a DVD (or a CD for that matter) That tiny extra amount of thickness can cause a jam in the mechanism. Not an issue with balance tho. The disc is clamped into position when it is snapped into place on the reel deck. The extra weight of a label will not cause unbalance, never even heard of that theory.

I've seen labels peel up at the edge in some computer DVD drives and DVD players when the disk is left in too long.
I use a Staedtler Permanent Lumocolor pen (Fine nib) to mark all my home made disks now.

i'm no longer able to tell you the call of my record label because of the fact i'm nonetheless interior the approach of copywriting and trademarking it. sure, i in my opinion am commencing my own label. one in each of those bands I plan to sign are enormously different. i will sign according to 4 questions.. all solutions would desire to be sure: a million. Do i admire their sound? 2. Do i think of people will like their sound? 3. am i able to marketplace them? (i.e. have they have been given a gimmick, a sturdy call, some thing i can use to help marketplace the band...) 4. have they have been given the flexibility to maintain springing up music people will like and which would be marketed? If the respond is not any to any of those questions, i could help produce a demo, yet I won't sign a band to my label.
