Think about the future! Not all dogs will enjoy a screaming baby if you decide to have a child in the next 15 years (since many dogs live 12-17 years). A great website is: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/searchcategories.htm
You can browse dog types based on their "combativeness" or their size, if they're good in apartments, etc... If you're looking to rescue a dog, which would be great, finding a mix of two calm/small breeds might be a great choice! Like a bichon frise/shih tzu or something cute which looks like a little teddy bear and gets along well with all kinds of critters/kids. These dogs are often "cast offs" from irresponsible breeders who don't like the results when the doggies decide to mess around on their own. Also, remember a puppy is a full time job at first! You are replacing their mother and their entire pack of brothers and sisters... so get a puppy at a time when you're going to be home often enough to take him or her potty every 2 hours at 2 months, every 3 hours at three months, every 4 hours at 4 months, etc... it's a big job! If you do decide to get a certain breed you can get a book on amazon for example, about the dog, and read all about your new puppy before you pick him up from his mommy, if you get a mix where you know what they are, you should read up on both types of dogs. Mixed breeds can show any characteristics from either parent. Good luck! =)

My family has 2 English bulldogs. I love em to death. They are very lovable and loyal to the end, but all dogs are. My advise would be to look up small dogs in the net and see if something catches your eye. Even better, go to a local animal shelter and take a look around. Prices will vary between on with papers and one from a pound. I know here it is only $55 to adopt and up to $4500 for an AKC registered English bulldog. Shop around, do some work, but eventually you guys will find one that will fit your lifestyle. Good luck.

There are several breed selectors online you can use. They will ask you many questions about the type of dog you want, your lifestyle, etc. then tell you the best breeds for you.
Once you know what you want, look for a rescue organization instead of a breeder. You'll still be able to find the breed you like, but you'll be giving a needy dog a home in the process. Plus you'll probably save some money!

Measuring the penis when it isn't erect is pointless, since the length and bulk are affected by various temporary factors, such as the ambient temperature. Even the largest male organ can shrink to virtually nothing if the man goes for a swim in cold water. However, at normal temperatures a non-erect p enis usually measures between 8.5 cm and 10.5 cm (3-4 inches) from tip to base.

The average figure is about 9.5 cm (3.75 inches). Of course, it's true that some men have big penises and some have smaller ones, just as some men have small feet and some have big feet, but the measurement is not – repeat not – an index of virility.

It is good you are thinking a head of time instead of buying one first.
Why not try adopting one? One that is already trained, already likes to travel? Some older people have these dogs and the person had passed away. These dogs have know where to go. These dogs are still very nice pets!!
Good luck finding a pooch...

I'm telling you... you need a miniature dachshund. "Weenie Dog" They are the sweetest little pets. They are the only breed of dog that does not produce "doggie odor". They are very intelligent, loving, and they have the best personalities. They are not extremely hyper-active and they are the perfect little lap dog. They stick by your side all the time. Mine loves to travel. I love mine soooo much. You wont be sorry if you get one!
They are fairly inexpensive also. Anywhere from $150.00 up.

Choosing a dog is like choosing a car, what features do you want in the dog? If you are looking for fun and active you could go with a beagle or a schnauzer.
If you are looking for calm, relaxed and quiet you could go with a daschund, pekignese or llapso.
If you are looking for a dog that doesn't shed you could go with a poodle.
Most dogs run from 300 - 600 dollars.
If you can tell me what features you want I can name a good dog for you.

Wennie dogs are my pick. They come in different small size and colors and are very sweet, very easy to take care of. Mine loves car rides and behaves very well in a car. They can cost up to $2,000 if you buy them at a pet store. But you can always find them in the newspaper for a lot less.
