Yes...she has to be pretty stupid to keep getting pregnant after the first one. I can understand one accident but not 3 and it's not fair that hardworking tax payers have to pay for her stupidity.

I think she's wrong unless she is physically unable to work...Other that there is No excuse! I'm 26 with 3 kids and I have been a mother since I was 15 years old! I went to school during the day and I worked a full time job at night! It was my unwise choice that got me pregnant but I knew I had to take responsibility for my actions and raise my child! I have never been on public assistance except for food stamps once...and that was only until I got another job! Yes being a young mother sucks but you still have to be responsible because you now have young children that you have to put first! Tell your friend to get a job!

I dont think she is wrong as long as she herself or the father is working to help support the family. My husband and I are 23 and 21 and we got assistance for our son for the first year he has no degree and is working construction to feed us. we cant afford health care so our son is on MC+. Are we wrong no we are doing all we can I am 3 months pregnant and babysitting a 10 week old to bring in extra on top of having my own 21 month old. Some people need the help no matter what they do. We are not to judge them. I understand though if she is sitting at home popping out kids and making everyone else pay for them though that is a differnt story and I would be hard pressed not to say something to her if I were you.

I was 22 with 3 kids (no financial assistance). I think its between her and whoever is helping her raise them. Government handouts are there. If it wasn't her getting them, it would be someone else. As long as she's a good Mom, don't worry about her or the kids. Some people just like having children young. I'm now planning my 4th at the old age of 27 and I feel ancient.

Wrong? Why should your friend be wrong to take money she is entiled to? She would be stupid if she won't. It is not up to me or anbody else to jugde somebody's lifestyle.
Do you think you would have one USD more in your pocket if she would not get financial assistance?
Do you think it would make sense if she works and pays more on daycare than she's bringing home?
Do you think kids are doing better in daycare than with their mom?
Do you know that these 3 kids one day will be 3 more persons to pay your retierment money?
With the money taking out of my husband's paycheck I rather finance a single mother raising her kids than financing a war.
@wgeller: guess you like people calling names. Don't worry, I will not get down to your standart. But if people just would go through your profile they would find out you popping babies out around the world. And with your 4th one you are pregnant now almost for a year. Told you before: get your storries straigth! Wanna call me names again? go head, I just laugh bout it! Oh, sorry, forgot, you husband is a dhs millionaire, right?

wgeller, what the HELL is wrong with you? maybe this woman was raped, did you ever consider that? could you open your goddamn mind? i'd rather the taxpayers' money went to single mothers than ANYTHING that would be endorsed by you, you petty idiot.
there's nothing wrong with this woman having three children. she should occupy herself with some way to give back to the community, like maybe volunteer work, if she has the time. but nobody can say that a certain lifestyle is "wrong", that's the point of america.
happy holidays
bye

Shes only wrong if she is sitting at home doing nothing and not trying to work at someting in her life ie. job training, school or volunteering. Many people need to go on govenment assistance just to live at a minimum.

I can't say that it is wrong...but I wouldn't be looking to the taxpayers of my state to foot the bill financially for raising my children.

It is her right to have children no doubt, but it shouldn't be the right of the government to take care of her children. Many questions are raised here. Are they from the same father? Why does she not practice safe sex? It is her right to have sex, but she should be more responsible about it.

As long as she is trying (going to school or trying to work her way up) to better her self and is just using it to get her to a better place its ok but if she is abusing it(not working or only working part time) then no its not ok. Thats just my opinion.
