To remove a hyperlink (hyperlink: Colored and underlined text or a graphic that you click to go to a file, a location in a file, a Web page on the World Wide Web, or a Web page on an intranet. Hyperlinks can also go to newsgroups and to Gopher, Telnet, and FTP sites.) and the text that represents it, right-click the cell that contains the hyperlink, and click Clear Contents on the shortcut menu.
To remove a hyperlink and the graphic that represents it, hold down CTRL and click the graphic, and then press DELETE.
Deactivate a single hyperlink
Right-click the hyperlink (hyperlink: Colored and underlined text or a graphic that you click to go to a file, a location in a file, a Web page on the World Wide Web, or a Web page on an intranet. Hyperlinks can also go to newsgroups and to Gopher, Telnet, and FTP sites.) you want to deactivate, and then click Remove Hyperlink on the shortcut menu.
Deactivate several hyperlinks at once
Type the number 1 in a blank cell, and right-click the cell.
Click Copy on the shortcut menu.

Under Operation, click Multiply and then click OK.

The @ sign will oly ceate a hyperlink if you put it directly after a character with no space.
For example Im@home will create a hyperlink
im @ home. Will not.
