Lets see when I started to go out with my boyfriend his birthday was 5 months after we started going out. I bought him a belt, and a wireless cocntroller for his PS2. If he doesn't like video games, by him a CD or a movie. Those are alwasy great gifts.

Get him a sweatshirt with his favorite team on it or a cool polo, then insist he wear it while you "take him to dinner, just the 2 of you" (but really take him out to the bar and have some drinks and fun!!) You will seem laid back and up for fun. Plus adding the little bit of fear before the fun will give you fuel for busting his balls all night!! Extra points if you call his boys and tell them to meet you guys at the bar. Friends always have the most embarrassing stories to tell!!! Bonus for you.

have him make a list of things he would like and if he says no tell him i am getting u something anything. i would get him a ipod mp3 player or tools only if he's into tools
