Weve been flirting a little bit for 2 weeks, light teasing etc. but we never hung out.

We were sitting in a library with 12 other people all around friends and strangers.

I asked her in a low voice "what time are you leaving"

then she said 6:00 Why, WHY did you ask, you must have had a reason" smiling.
"Why?" louder.

Then i asked her to come sit by me 2 tables over and she said "no first tell me why you asked".

By then a scene was forming and i felt like saying "never mind" but instead i said "I wont tell you until you come over and sit with me"

Then she laughed and said "fine, i wont come over until......"

WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT?
if she had just said ' about 6:00' i would have went over or asked her over to talk more private. (not hiding) just private.

John B. - thats why i asked, a guys perception is different. Most females say "shes flirting...this is fun"
But a guy would think, "not worth it" and move on.

Then the girl would wonder why guys aren't attracted to her.......LOL.

Ironic isn't it.

This chick likes to play games. and if you get involved with her you will be the subject of this BS forever.

forget this one, she is too immature right now. Wait till she grows up.

maybe the whole thing could have just been avoided if you would have responded to her question of why are you asking?

did you have specific reason for wanting to know what time she was leaving,.... or did you think she was having to much fun with others and you wanted to know when she would be alone
maybe you preceiv her as different person around others versus when it's just the two of you flirting etc

were you asking what time she was leaving because you wanted a few minutes to spend with just her before she left,.......then tell her that

Immaturity, she has not reached maturity yet and has not come to the conclusion that she does not need to be loud to be noticed. Some females even grown feel the need to be the center of attention and they are very loud. it is very annoying. Women should be a quiet gentle spirit, hopefully she will soon realize this. Females dont have to say a word to be noticed. God bless****

She was teasing you in a good sort of way and possibly she really wanted you to say 'why'...instead of hinting at it...You just made it harder on yourself...

It is nice to be told the 'why' of something, taking that little bit of effort can go a long way...and she also might have wanted to be sure of what you meant instead of assuming...

She acts that way because at her age what matters most about any sort of relationship with guys is how much all the other girls know and how much they approve. Catch her alone or find someone who doesn't care so much about social status. Best of luck! Trust me on this girls grow out of it eventually.

Your preception of your relationship and her perception is different. I may be wrong but it seems she felt if she emarrased you you would leave her alone. I do hope that is not right but there is really no other reason. She clearly wanted to do just that.

Find another girl that is nicer to you. I wouldn't give that girl another look.

I'm guessing she's kind of young and that she's just trying to play coy, but sounds like she isn't too good at it yet. For now, you can play along and she'll eventually stop playing the silly games.

Maybe she just wanted to you acknowledge that you like her in public. Some girls need reassuring that you're interested enough in her to admit it in a crowd. Maybe she was just teasing you because you were reacting to her teasing.

Grow up. Either she's a dope or she thinks you are a dope or both. Move on, there are a million girls out there that you could fall in love with.

She was just being a tease. Did that make you more interested? Then it worked. Kudos to her.
