Most words in Arabic are formed from three letters (usually Arabic consonants).

In your case, the three letters are "N" "O" "R". The "O" is actually the "wow" (و‎) letter in Arabic. These three letters relate to the word "Light" in Arabic.

By adding vowels around these three letters, you form words such as:

"NORA"
"NUR"
"NOURAN"
"MANAR"
"MINAWWAR"
"ANWAR"
"NOOR"
"TANWEER"

... etc.

"Nowarah" means to "Light up", or to "add some light".
