At first I found her interesting because she was into natural medicine and so on. But since I heard about her visions I stopped investigating because I think it's scary stuff. She had visions since she was a child. At first she thought they were of satan but at 42 years of age she suddenly thought they were from God and started to write them down. Since God is almighty don't you think He can make Himself clearly understood? Wouldn't you immiadetly recognise if it was God Who's talking to you. Her story also reminds me of Muhammad who first thought his visitations were of the devil and then his first wife told him they were from God. Don't you think the first impression was the right one in both cases? Would appreciate opinions from many differnent religious points of view.

At first she thought her visions were distorted because she was ill, migraine attacks, not because they were of Satan. She later did think or "know" her visions were of God, but sought confirmation from the Pope. It would be pretty heady stuff and I would seek confirmation too!

She does have a positive attitude towards nature, natural medicine and so on. And also she believed that God was present, through the Holy Spirit, in everything. To me she was one of the most interesting of the mystics and I'll have to make time again to revisit her stuff!

while i don't know her story - what i do know is that sometimes God's word isn't fully clear until He feels it's time - look at the book of revelations and all the differences of opinion. there are many parts of the bible that fall into the same category - hence the various denominations.
