with only using your body for weight resistance? I would like something that I can do at home instead of the gym.

Bench press and push-ups are ways to work your chest. Of course, without a bench they are harder, but you can use anything for resistance.
Try pushups with your feet on the ground, with foot top locked behind the other, using only one hand, or by clapping between repetitions.
Try using different weights on your back by filling a tight-fitting backpack with books, or having one of your kids hold on to your shoulders and hang on - have them count for you, too.
You can also try pushups with your feet elevated on the couch of the bed behind you. Try them nude and use your wife (or partner) as the resistance by sitting on your back. and legs.
There are a million ways to work your chest at home. Have fun discovering them. And build yourself a huge chest.

obviously push ups.
Change the spacing of your hands.
3 sets of 25 reps each.
Start with thumb and pointer touching (nose into the diamond) for the first set.
Then standard style.
Then as broad as you can go.

If you want to get more fancy than that.
You can do a handstand on the wall and push up.
You can sit cross legged and push yourself off the ground and hold that. Get a solid stick or piece of bamboo hold it perpindicular from body using both hands - arm straight and pull out - then push in, little pops like this. You can explore many angles using the bamboo and push, pull bend for a range of interesting upper body exercises.

Most important for rapid muscle development is to stretch and breath well before during and after the exercise.

Push ups are good, you can do them many different ways. Like regular, wide arm, bringing your hands closer together. Elevating your legs on a chair while you do them too.....Keep your back straight is very important too. If you sag in the middle you are cheating your body and can injure your body
