The Bible, thus God forbids sex outside of marriage.

It may seem old fashion, but look at the state of marriage today, 50% live together, 50% have affairs, how many kids are born outside of marriage, then given up for adoption or abortion etc....

Doing whatever you want may bring a little pleasure at the time, but what about the consequences? Is it worth it in the long run?

God created us and knows what's best for us!

I came across your other 10 questions, and answer them to the best of my knowledge, but I guess you removed it??? I think it is commendable that you are curious about Christianity.

I cannot use the word "forbidden". But lord Buddha has preached, to refrain from sexual misconduct and explaining its consequences. So sex outside marriage would be a sexual misconduct.

I cannot relate virginity to Buddhism. I don't know anything about that. But in my country......men want to get married virgin girls. In early days if the bride cannot prove her virginity on her first night, she would be sent back to her parents and would be subjected many other insults.

So I think looking for a virgin is a cultural thing. And not related to the religion.

No, my religion forbids nothing except harming others intentionally. If you have found sex outside of marriage to be harmful in some way, then you don't do it. Personally, within certain bounds ,I don't see how any harm CAN come from the act itself, and I think virginity is over-rated.

My religion, Catholicism, does say it's a mortal sin to have sex outside of marriage. A lot of Catholics don't follow this, but how do you know what most Muslims are actually doing? Only God can know that for sure.

Catholics have the sacrament of reconciliation where we get forgiveness and graces to help us not to sin again.

I beleive the foundation for this is the complications that can come from sex outside of commitment. Emotional, unwanted children, STDs. However, I also believe where there is enough passion for marriage there will be sex.

Islam delenda est. Islam is a joke, when some guy can just think his daughter did something, or if a woman is raped and she gets stoned to death, or like some areas burned alive. Islam jumped the shark 1000 years ago and needs to go away. Far away.

My religion encourages fulfilment of our natural desires. If a person wants to engage in premarital sex, they do and are the better for it. As most people want to have premarital sex, there are very few virgins in my religion.

That's how it goes. At least we're honest about it.

(1 Thes. 4:3-8) "This is what God wills...that you abstain from fornication; that each one of you should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God"......"for God called us, not with allowance for uncleanness, but in connection with sanctification."

The Bible forbids sex outside of marriage...I'm a Jehovah's Witness and the answer to both of your questions is yes.

Unless of course the woman is raped. In which case the woman is murdered by one of her family members. A so-called "honor" killing. Then all evidence of the woman's existence is wiped out.
The murderer gets a very mild sentence, less than dangerous driving. And then comes back a hero.
Now, tell us again how women are equals in islamic society...

Yes you true, and anything before marriage between a couple is forbidden because it will result in bad things and hardship

True love is spiritual love and if you love him/her then why cant you waite. In Islam if you wait then your desires will be met in their full.
