I wouldn't have had my laundry stolen.

These rat bastards go to the local laundry mat and wait for you to turn your back...steal your clothes and then sell them.

That's the type of people that we are dealing with....is this really what you want coming across our borders?

First of all, I don't have HATE against the illegals.. I have disgust against a system that has allowed these people to overrun our country like a plague with no checks and balances. They are given anything they want or need with no consequence for breaking a law in the first place, while the rest of us are penalized for simpler things.
How would my life be different? I might have found a good job when I lived in California instead of being jobless when those who were ILLEGAL could do anything they pleased and send all the money and the result of public aid back home..
I applied for, and interviewed for, several jobs for which I was highly qualified.. with the final straw being at the D.A.'s office when I interviewed..and the very FIRST question they asked me was NOT about my qualifications.. NOT about my references and NOT about my work history.. the VERY FIRST question asked was [and I quote] "How fluent are you in Spanish?" my response? "I don't speak enough Spanish to fight my way out of a wet paper bag.. but why should I? I don't recall EVER leaving the United States of America where ENGLISH is the language of the land." Do I sound bitter? sorry.. I am not bitter.. I am angry. While I sit back and get accused of OFFENDING the Mexicans.. and the Arabs.. and the whoever else is on a roll this week.. I AM OFFENDED!! I am offended at being treated as a second class citizen in my own country because A. I celebrate the birth of Christ on December 25th. Forgive me if I am wrong, but isnt' that the REASON for the holiday in the first place? B. I am not sufficiently sympathetic toward those who come to this country with no money, no skills, no goals and NO green card. and C. because I RESENT my tax dollars being used to support these low life, law breaking drains on society. I have facts and figures that can prove the HUGE drain these people are to our society, but that is a lecture for another day.. and to be perfectly honest, they have already occupied too much of my day and too many of my thoughts. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. [and if that offends you... TOUGH]

I hate to say this, there are illegal immigrants in almost all races but the Mexican illegal immigrants are by far the most disrepectful of the laws of this country and the most blatan abusers of the public resources. If there were no illegal immigrants, I would go back to my favorite restaurants, supermarket, department stores which used to have courteous, knowlegeble, charming and funny staff who spoke English and actually cared about what they were doing.

To all of those who said that without the illegal immigrants all of our lives would grind to a halt...........GIVE ME A BLOODY BREAK. MOST OF THESE ILLEGALS HAVE MORE TO DO WITH LOWERING THE STANDARDS OF MANY TRADES AND BUSINESSES.
I MISS THE GOOD OLD AMERICA THAT I USED TO KNOW AND ADMIRE.

I think initially, prices for some things would go up, but would eventually stabilize. But I also think prices for other things, like insurance would go down because of the decrease in uninsured motorists.

And all those "low paying jobs" being done by the illegals could now be put into a federal program (like FDR's policies in the Depression), and the jobs can be done by the current people on welfare. We can get the non-working welfare recipients to start working (solving are horrible welfare problem), and solve the illegal immigrant problem at the same time.

Well it would lower prices at stores in areas that have suffered from shoplifting due to illegals. A very prominent department store was about ready to close their doors because of it. Nobody was able to prosecute these people. A certain percentage of new gang recruits would go down, public transit would be less crowded. Gosh the list goes on. The only hateful person is YOU for supporting the degradation of society.

I'd be able to get a job in the field I was trained in because hopefully there wouldn't be "must speak Spanish" on every job listing. I could go to other towns and get directions in English. The gangs would be alot less. I could shop in peace. Hopefully my taxes wouldn't keep going up year after year for all the schools etc. they need to build and other services they use. Alot less traffic. Less crime. Quieter neighborhoods. There's something to be said for quality of life and general safety.

HELLO! My life would not change one little bit. And I don't have hate for anyone. I don't know why you think that we hate those people. Maybe you do and maybe you're the one that don't want them around. Maybe they have done some thing to you that you want them gone.Grow up! I'm sure it would affect a lot of other people and how much taxes we pay because they are here. It probably affect those that need them to do cheep labor. It may affect some one in love or affect some one of having a job or not having a job.

1. The streets will be safer coz there will be less crimes.
2. There will be more job opportunities for legal immigrants.
3. Tax dollars will be saved from building more prisons and other social welfare activities.
4. Courts will have more time to deal with other issues.
5. Overall quality of life will improve for all of us.

i would prolly end up paying more for certain things. but i wouldn't have to worry about driving on the road with as many uninsured drivers. so that's a plus.

update: i don't hate people for being desperate. it's basic survival techniques. i just hate their own choice to not make themselves legal in the first place.

Hmm....I'd probably be able to make it to work on time since L.A. traffic would be cut in half. Also, I wouldn't have to answer the phone only to hear "oh uh you speaka spanish??" 50 billion times a day and have them get mad because they can't communicate. NO I don't "speaka spanish" and I don't plan on learning either. I certainly wouldn't go to France and expect everyone to adapt to me and my language. I would learn how to speak f***ing French.

No one said we hate them. My job is easier now that they deported some. The people who got the jobs can speak English and are therefore easier to train ..And dont tell me I should learn to speak Spanish. I live in America
