You're still focusing on proof rather than on evidence. The problem with belief in god is not that god's existence is unproven - lots of things are unproven - but that there is no evidence for god's existence.
Now, I respect you for posting this question, and will respond respectfully. The "out" that you need if you want to retain your belief is not to make up some evidence, but rather to accept that belief in god is based in faith. That means two things:
First, you have to accept that there is no evidence for god's existence. That means you're accepting the fact that it is not foolish to disbelieve, but instead is the obvious, reasonable conclusion.
Second, you have to decide that you are willing to believe in god despite having no evidence.
You've surely noticed that religious people talk about faith as central to religion. Here's where you have to make a sacrifice in order to have real faith: you have to first be willing to admit that you NEED to have faith, that there is no evidence. If instead you insist that there really is evidence for god's existence, you're denying the role of faith, and doing no-one any good.

>> It is impossible to dis-prove the unprovable?
By definition of "unprovable", it seems that would be the case.
>> God can not be proven, so to ask one to prove his non-existence, is like asking someone to prove Santa Claus' non existence, right?
Precisely. Which you can't do - maybe there really is a guy who hides out in the North Pole all year round and we just haven't found hm yet.
>> I mean, the belief is the same, there is no God, there is no Santa, but you cant prove a negative, right?
Right.
>> So the burden of proof lies with God believers to prove the existence
Absolutely
>> and if that was done it would THEN become the Atheists burden to disprove the proof, right?
Right. Which wouldn't be hard if the original proof isn't sound (has a logical fallcy, etc.). Many times, the theist's "proof" falls into this category - there is usually a fallacy of some sort buried in the middle. Theist says "The bacterial flagellum cannot arise on its own - it is irreducibly complex." Atheist says: "But the Type-III secretory system is at the base of the bacterial flagellum! So it IS reducible, hence is not 'irreducibly complex'!"
And so on, and so forth. You get the idea.

God says the heaven's declare His glory.
Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
This really isn't so much about us (Christians) and you as it is about God and you. He says you are without excuse. It won't matter what any of us say when we stand before Him. If our sins are still attatched to us when we die, we can't spend eternity with Him; we will go to the place prepared for the devil and his demons. We choose. You can choose not to believe, but it doesn't change the facts. Christians should be witnesses to the truth, but we are not the lawyers or the judge. WE should state the facts faithfully and live by the truth, so that you can have more info to make your decision, but remember, each witness will not have the complete story, and some may get details wrong, just like in a court of law. You must seek the truth diligently if you are to find it. Your decision will be the deciding point in your eternity. Make a wise one.
I believe that some people have written books that have shown the proof beyond a *reasonable* doubt ("Evidence that Demands a Verdict", amongst others), and that puts it back in your court. Since you can't prove He doesn't exist beyond a *reasonable* doubt, I would rethink my position if I were you.
In a court of law, proving a murder beyond a reasonable doubt is all that is required. It is not enough to prove it could have happened or probably happened, but it is not necessary to prove 100% that it did happen. Somewhere in between is the spot to which we reach and believe it is true. If you have not examined the evidence for yourself and sought Him as to whether or not He exists, then do that before you condemn yourself to hell. If you really want to know, ask Him to show you if He is real, and then seek Him.

Santa was a real person called Saint Nicholas in the 4th century. His personification is carried forward as Santa.
God is not a person, but Jesus is. Jesus lived and walked on this planet in human form to take our sins upon himself. In fact Jesus said "I am" meaning I am one with God. He died on a cross and on the third day came back to reveal Himself as God's Son, the third part of the Holy Trinity. Unlike Santa, Jesus' personification is still the real living Christ.
The world is slowing down at 1 second every two years. So lets see. In 1000 years that is 500 seconds or 8.3 minutes. There are 60 times 24 minutes in a day or 1440 minutes. In 173,000 years a day and night would be 1 second long. After that the earth's rotation would be reversed. But would the planet be able to hold itself together at that speed? The dust on the moon was found to be about six inches not 2 miles as predicted. Six inches is about 6000 years of dust. Go figure, the moon is only 6000 years old. Amazing that the Bible says God created this universe 6000 years ago.

No, you still don't have it. If we could prove God exists(scientifically that is) there would be no faith required. However, faith is required to have a true belief in Him.
Now that I believe in Him, all I have to do is look around me to understand that there is no possible way that the universe and everything in it was formed in any other way but by God.
By the way, unless and until you become a believer of the one True God and His Son Jesus Christ, you will never understand because only those who believe in Him can know His ways . .
1 Peter 2:6 - As the Scriptures say, “I am placing a cornerstone in Jerusalem (Jesus), chosen for great honor, and anyone who trusts in him will never be confounded.”

You almost have it right. If the christians somehow prove that god exists (yeah... right) then there would be no point in trying to disprove it.
It's like saying that oak trees don't exist or that man never went to the moon. Only the stupidest morons on earth would state that.
But some morons still profess that god exists, despite the fact that there isn't a single solitary shred of credible evidence to support the existence of this sky-pixie.

Well, kind of but the problem is your faith means that you believe that a tree is proof which it is clearly not. If he were to send a thunder-bolt down from 'heaven' or somehow prove his existence incontrovertably I wouldn't have a problem. I still wouldn't be converted because I will never believe that abortion is wrong or homosexuality is wrong or that Dubya is a good guy or that people should obey and be afraid of something.

Sure, burden of proof and all. That's the way it works.
By the way "Santa" did exist at one time but that was long before Christmas was ever called Christmas.

You're right. But believers in God will never seek actual proof of his existence because they have faith that God exists. Their faith is what lets them believe there is a God.
I was raised christian, and walked away to paganism. I personally believe in something else entirely.

The Bible records many instances of God interacting with ppl. The problem is, atheists don't believe it bc they accuse it of bias. However, they can't prove it's biased, it's only their opinion. It may very well be recording facts, as it has with historical events. The Bible has been demonstrated to be the most accurate work ever written with regard to archaeology.
In addition, no one has been able to refute the resurrection. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, why did a few of the disciples die for believing He did? And why did Paul become a Christian after trying to kill them? There's no reason for those things to happen if Jesus didn't rise from the dead. The fact that they did happen gives support to the fact that He did.
