how do i convert 1000volts into watts?

very, very very carefully...
but seriously:

V=IR
Voltage = current x resistance
Volts = amps x watts

You need two of the three elements to work out the third one.
eg. if you have 1000Volts and a 50 watt device, it will be rated at 20 amps (1000=50x20)
