Personally, i don't know any fisherman who think that temperature pollution is not a problem, but I have an idea why someone might want warmer temperatures. In cooler parts of the US, warmer temperatures can produce bigger fish, and also allow some popular sport fish such as large-mouth bass to live in places that would be too cold without thermal pollution. Because fish are cold-blooded their digestion and growth rates increase with warmer temperatures - up to a point. Waters can become too hot even for bass and other warm water species.

I'm sure they are not affecting the temperature of the lake so why should they be worried?
