It is perfectly natural for you to be attracted to him even though there are three years between you and vice versa. That is wise of you to recognize there is an "experience" gap between you and him, and to be cautious about that. I don't know him, so I obviously can't pass judgment on whether he is sincerely a good guy or is trying to take advantage of girls younger than him (and there are plenty of guys on both sides of that one). I don't think there is any urgency to "get with him while I can." He's not a holiday sale item. I would not rush into anything until you are ready. Approach the situation on your time and on your terms.
Best of luck

To tell you the truth it is a little weird, if hes 17 hes not looking for a 14 year old girl to like especially if you said he is hot and all the girls like him, this might mean he is just fooling around with you, and leading you on. I mean don't get me wrong on the other hand it sounds like he is into because of the little text messages he send you they sound really cute and he sounds like he really cares, But he also might just think you are hot and not want Ne thing like a girlfriend out of it but try and make a move go for it your never going to know unless you try to do something, whats the worst that can happen you could find out he doesn't want to get with you...but then again there are always other guys.

depends what country your from. If it was in the US, i know the legal age to have sex for a guy is 16, for a girl i think its 14, so you are pretty safe... but i dunno, it could be 15. Anyway, if it was illegal, you wont get into heaps of trouble. its just... illegal... once you turn 18, it becomes illegal then because its sex with a minor (you being an adult and she being 16...). Then, once she turns 18, and you are 20, its legal again. Pretty stuffed up laws i know! In some other countries, the legal age is as low as 12! or there may be no laws at all... hope that helps.

no no no no no. Don't do that unless you want cheap sex. There will be no emotional connection there whatsoever, I guarantee it. He's extremely experienced as you said, that should be a warning right there, it means girls are playthings to him. His text messages and such do not connote actual emotional attachment, he just knows how to make girls like him, and trust me, its an easy thing to do. Take it from a guy who has seen girls hurt, you do not want to have any kind of relationship with him. Even if you think you can handle a purely physical relationship, don't do that to yourself, because its a stupid, self abusive thing to do. Date somebody your own age who actually is interested in you for the whole package.

No i used to play the "3 year rule" when i was younger. basically no girl younger than 3 years therefore 17 to 14 works. FYI 2 years younger is the best for action at that age.

in some places that is against the law... he is over 16 and you are 14... that can cause trouble. too much of an age difference for your ages...
girls may mature earlier, but boys have a different agenda than you do at these ages...
stay away from him.

thats not a big age gap, but the maturity gap is humongous! if you both were older then it wouldnt be such a big deal. but my guess is he just wants to play around and ur there bc of him being ur brothers friend. try to find someone your own age. if you both age a few more yrs (4+) and he still feels this way then try it out then.
