I posted a joke a few minutes ago, and I got a violation notice a joke is a joke !!!
yes it was ofensive for the wife of the man in the joke
But is a JOKE !!!!

If it is offensive then somebody probably reported you and Yahoo! took the question off Y!A. If you ever report something that is offensive somebody will notice and report that question.

Yahoo doesn't police the boards. They just go by people reporting abuse. So yeah someone went and whined and Yahoo doesn't pay any attention to what the complaint is. Sure they CLAIM they read the report of abuse but they really don't.

it depends what was the joke?? if its really offensive then yes the will send u a violation, just like wat happened to me when i answered a question just for the points and they gave me violation which took away about half my points....
