Is it true there can be no such thing as an Atheist?

Would it be possible, in the ninety-nine percent of the knowledge that you haven't yet come across, that there might be ample evidence to prove the existence of God?"
By saying you KNOW there is no God, considiring you may not KNOW all there is, is that a contridiction in itself? Also, would it swing the same way for Christians?
Is it not better for BOTH sides to state it as a BELIEF, not a FACT?
