I found a very nice watch in my price range and I want to buy it for him but I have never seen him with a watch on. How can I find out if he likes watches but doesnt have one or if he doesnt wear one cause he hates them without him realizing that what I might get him one for christmas?

maybe when around another man wearing a watch say "Wow that is a nice looking watch" or something. See what he says. Whether it is "Oh yeah i like that" or "Oh, it is nice but i don't care for watches." Either that or just get it. If it is from his girlfriend he would probably wear it either way and then he will have no exuceses for ever being late!

Heres what I would do. Go ahead and grab the watch you never know when they will sell out or will change prices. Give it to him and watch the expression on his face when he opens it if he likes it dont say anything if he dosnt let him know you are willing to take it back and get something he likes instead if he wants to. Let him know that he dosnt have to keep it just cuz you got it for him though most of the time they will and wear it when they are with you just because it is something you got them my husband is the same way and he never says that he does or dosnt so I kinda just have to watch him close to see what he likes.

ask a member of his family. it could be that wearing a watch could cause a skin reaction. if thats the case get him a nice pocket watch

Take him shopping with you and just happen to pass a stand with watches. Pretend one catches your eye and ask what he thinks about it. Based on his response, you should know whether it is worth it or not.
