Im a bible reader and i dont bow down to the people who wrote it. god didnt write the bible. men wrote it but it was inspired by god through his holy spirit. you might not believe it because your mind your blinded and it sounds foolish because you dont think like god thinks because his thoughts are higher then yours. now in regards to taking it litterally lets say that you had a child and your whole life you gave them advice. and he constantly screwed up and his hole life was really crappy and unworthy. and the reason hes life was like so was because he said that was because everything you said he didnt take it literally. Jehovah has given us the bible as a means for survival. the reason y there is so much chaos was because poeple dont take it literally and take whaterever suits them.

Um...no. The men that wrote the bible were filled with the holy spirit and God wrote the bible through them. So the bible wasn't not written by men but through men. You don't walk on water and you are not perfect so I wouldn't take anything you said seriously. Now, do you understand how silly you sound?

Now that just makes you sound like an idiot. The Bible was written by many many authors over many hundreds of years. The Bible is also the number one book looked to for historical accuracy of the time, do some research, stop being so ignorant.

Absolutely! Given, of course, that you could demonstrate that you are the Creator of the universe. Otherwise, I would see no reason to do so. Incidentally, not every word of the Bible is meant to be taken literally.

I thought the Mormons already did that.
First, before I even cracked your book open, I would have to make a critical examination of your life. Your education, your credentials. What have you done in the world. Where any of these actions Historic? Have you bettered humanity? Those sorts of questions.

No. I read the Bible and I certainly don't take every word literally and without question.

I admit, taking everything without asking where they come from is quite silly, but if this "you" is Einstein, then you wud probably react completely differently.

The Bible writers were slaved themselves and did not allow anyone to bow to them.

You?
No.
You would just be plagiarizing a previous work.

While imitation is the greatest form of flattery, imitations never really come off as well as the original.
