ok if u asked this question to be a jerk then ur are a jerk and thats a very uneceassary unintelligent thing tosay...if not ur question is legitimate because indeed people with real classified mental retardation do have distinct looks....ppl can be slightly mentally retarded if they have downs syndrome meaning they have three chromosomes in their last pair a total of 47 chromosomes...this happens when a woman concieves a child at a later age above 35...chances of downs syndrome increase as soon as u pass thrity ladies so dont delay too much to have a baby aftr thrity for its own sake....down's syndrome people have minor mental retardation and a distinct roundness to their face with distinctive features....others can have a heriditary disease (by far one of very few mental diseases proven to be hereditary) itis called cerebral palsy and that is severe retardation in which the person is like a vegetable--they may even be smart in their own minds but are inarticulate and therefore they may look the same to u because they have similar expressions....thats all there is to it

I have a feeling that you have some sort of mental disorder yourself, and probably one worse than that of which the people you speak. Yes, generally people that have the same disorder such as Down's syndrome do look alike. I think you are looking for attention because you are not secure in your own mental capabilities.....maybe you should seek some counseling!

mentally dumb people actually won't look alike but we feel so because of their similar actions, as they all generally react in the same way .

Not all mentally handicapped people look alike, certain diseases, such as down syndrome, have a very particular "look" associated with them, but not all mental diseases make you look like everyone else with a handicap.

not exactly they are alike, if u know any one associated with u, infamily relation,whom u know closely for some particular mentally handicap then u will know the difference.

They don't put the tension into their face muscles that normal people do. They have a 'slack' look in their face.
