Those who think the middle east would be a peaceful little corner of the world without the oppressive oil hungry mean old USA are just fooling themselves. Middle eastern islamic culture is steeped in violence and retribution. Without the US they'd still be killing each other off. Been doing it for centuries. I agree that the last time was the Civil

Oh, and the question was "in the US". Not asking about other nations such as Ireland.

When people don't want to take responsiblity for their own problems they find the nearest and closest thing to them. Sometimes they choose because of jealousy, which is just pride when you get right down to it. These nations cannot admit fault. It is easier to hate than to love. It is easier to kill millions of people than to admit defeat. Islam is a religion that so far I have only seen hate come out of. A society based on hate is bound to be shooting at eachother. Blessings to you and yours!

It wasn't that long ago that some nutcase blew up a family planning clinic. Oh yes, he wasn't a "real" Christian, just a product of the Christian culture.

Get a grip! Christians are definitely not the best example to use. They may not have committed massive atrocities recently, but the Christian culture is full of it -- Crusades, Inquisition, etc. Even the boondoggle of WW-I was created by Christians.

Myboys talks about "taking responsibility for one's action." Christianity teaches exactly the opposite -- Jesus is always there to forgive whatever I do. No need for "me" to take the fall.

Civil war wasn't too pretty was it? Didn't they both think they had god on their side?

Actually, Ireland's been quiet for almost a decade now. It was bad, but they got tired of it all and gave up. Or ran out of bullets.

Europe, Asia, The Middle East, etc. will always blame the U.S. for their own problems. They always have, always will. It's easier to to do that, than accept the fact that they are responsible for their own miserable governments and poverty stricken lives.

Ironic isn't, in the end it is a fight for power, it has nothing to do with GOD.

Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!

No, they just make video games where the Christians can kill off all the Non-Believers if they don't convert.

To me, there really is no difference. The game and anyone who supports it is no better than the Islamic groups fighting each other in the streets. The game itself says "It's alright to kill Non-Believers".
