I have 2 cats, and Im watching 2 cats. Mine are males, my friends are females. They all have ample kitty litter and it is always clean, and they know where it is. I smelt urine in my bedroom last night,(I cant find out where it is) and I read that my cats or theirs will spray and urine to mark there territory. My friend is in Germany, and Im stuck trying to figure this out. All cats are fixed....how can I stop them from peeing in my house? and how can I get the urine off from what has already been peed on when I cant even find the exact location? HELP!!!

keep the cats in 2 seperate sections of the house...that way they have thier own little "territories". Get an enzyme cartpet cleaner, its the only stuff that will remove the smell to your nose, and thiers

Pheromone Magic is this great enzyme cleaner for cat pee. I've tried others and this is my favorite. Keep the cats in separate rooms, hopefully not carpeted. Both sets of cats are being stressed by having the others around, specifically smelling each other. Pet stores also sell lamps for finding biological material (pee!). You can find the stain that way. Keep catnip around too, it will hopefully mellow them out.

Cats are usually introduced to each other gradually. One method involves having one cat rub it's scent on a towel or blanket, then letting the other hang out with the towel so their scent will transfer. Then you give the towel back to the 1st kitty.

I have 3 cats all neutered or spayed. I still have one that pees and sometimes we don't know exactly where it goes. I know there is stuff at Pet Smart that you can spray when they do go and it is supposed to get rid of the smell. I hope your friends cats don't start trying to mark their territory because then it will be a mess. Good luck to you!

wow- hope you've learnt your lesson on this one for next time you get stuck with all the kitty cats. The only thing i can think of is putting the friends cats in a cage/kennel thingy.
