There are devices called "line level converers" or "high level converters" and can be found at Wal-Mart. It taps into the speaker wires (in the trunk) and converts the signal to line level (RCA) connections. Using an RCA cable, you connect this device to the amps inputs.

Some amps have high-level inputs already built in.

Here is some info on enclosures (and other tips):

Well, it depends on the amp you have and the audio system.

If it is a factory system with no RCA preout connections, and if your amp has speaker level connections, you can wire directly in to the amp and then run speaker wires to your speaker.

If the amp doesn't have speaker level inputs and you don't have RCA commentions, you'll have to use a line converter, to change the speaker level out of your radio to an RCA level inout. Scosche sell one at Walmart for under $20.

If you radio has preouts, the connection is simple to the amp.

Good luck

you will have to have an AMP with LINE LEVEL INPUT or you will have to get this kind of thing to do it http://www.etronics.com/listproducts.asp?catid=5734&store=
you will have to find a place were you can put your remote wire.you could use a low power fuse in your fuse panel that turns on with the car but there are other ways to do that just look for some place in your car if you have an electric antenna that will work if you splice the wire in to that.
