Why do guys feel that if they tell you the truth about something that they have done wrong then you should no longer be mad instead you should be thankful that they told the truth because "afterall they could have just never told you or continued to lie you would have never been able to find out"?

Guys think this because it makes them look "better" for telling the truth and the think you will look past the fact that they have done something wrong and get on with your relation ship but that is ify because only guys know what they are thinking it's a no woman's land

yea I don't get that. It really earks me when my boyfriend goes off and does something that he knows I won't like and then he will call me or tell me the next day what he did and expect me not to be mad. But when I do something the whole world stops.
UGH!!!!

while we are being honest we are not taking responsibility for our actions --- as well what does getting angry achieve --- would it not be better to resolve the problem strengthen the relationship
