I'll be flying from Tokyo to Seattle with Northwest Airlines, and I'm wondering what the food will be like. Is it good? I will be in economy class.

i'm a husky guy, 5'11" and 220#, and that i flew from South Bend IN to Bangkok 3 weeks in the past on Northwest. I sat comfortably in coach, and the nutrition became surely large! there have been no delays, and easily a million hour layover in between each and each flight, and my bags became the place it mandatory to be, on time, undamaged. it relatively is all i will ask for on coach, and that i've got been given it. Their top notch international flight cabins are alluring nonetheless!

Depends on the class of service and the route. I have had a Business class meal on a NWA flight to Tokyo, and it was pretty good. But, they have all the information w/ details on their website: http://www.nwa.com/services/onboard/special/meals.html

never been on a flight but i have seen interviews and documentaries about people flying and they said the food was better than at home,gourmet food,good steaks etc.they said they would fly again just for the food.that was in economy class.i can't even imagine how first class is.

It is vary. More likely, they microwave the already-prepared food.
Someof them are good, but some are gross.
May want to eat something before you depart, or bring some snack.

Your on a plane, last time I checked there was no iron chef preparing meals, but ask for a vegi meal, they will be the best.

its ok, not great. I find anything they serve tastes ok because you are bored out of your mind and its something to do.
