Don't use ANY chemicals on your hair when you are pregnant. Ask your midwife and she will tell you the same.

I'm a hairstlyist(retired due to injury only) and i would not be using any chemicals on your hair while pregnant. Your whole body chemistry changes and will alter the chemicals of the product you are using leaving the opposite to happen or worse. As well as your emotions are high right now and if somethings happens to your hair it will only add to the emotional issues. When in doubt don't do anything. Its like getting your hair done the night before your wedding, a no-no. hope this helps, kat....

That is up to your doctor. Most doctors say stay away from those. But, you really SHOULD tell the hairdresser because it's THEIR choice to do this for you and if they don't feel comfortable using those chemicals on a pregnant womens hair, you shouldn't lie to them about it.

I would say no...due to the harshness of the chemicals...on your scalp..and breathing in the fumes.
