The Manx is a breed of cat with a naturally occurring mutation of the spine. This mutation shortens the tail, resulting in a range of tail lengths from normal to tailess. The hind legs are longer than the front legs, creating a continuous arch from shoulders to rump giving the cat a rounded appearance. Manx cats move with more of a hop than a stride when running; in this aspect, they resemble rabbits more than cats. Many Manx have a small 'stub' of a tail, but Manx cats are best known as being entirely tailless; it is the distinguishing characteristic of the breed.

Of all the manx cats I've been around, I have to say they are a very active, kind of "crazy" and wild breed. They're a lot of fun, but pretty nutty and aggressive, though not necessarily mean.

Our manx is pretty laid back, however he does act silly sometimes. He will get bursts of energy and run wild through the house every now and then. He really likes to play with toys. (with feathers on them) He also likes to hide behind things so that when you walk by he can chase you and paw at your feet. He really is one of the most fun cats we have owned.

have aggressive side to them, espeacially if your there main
attention giver. You can log onto animalplanet@discoverymail.

so entertaing but irritating at the same time, in to everything.

Our Manx, Bubba, plays very hard. We've had him for years and he is a handful!
