Seeing as this is a hypothetical question and there is a God there is no reason to wonder "What if?". But if there wasn't a God I wouldn't be here in the first place so no I guess i wouldn't have children.

God is not a person in my belief, but an essence that I have no definition for. Therefore finding out the was no God in the way a lot of people understand God would have no bearing(pun intended) on my deciding to have children.
If I found out today that the Church said that they acknowledged that the birth of Jesus was not a miracle,or that Jesus never rose again etc. etc.
For I believe Jesus lived, was a great prophet and died. Then I would be more likely to attend or join a church, til then..........

An interesting question.

Children are important for the economies of the world, wherein there is room for more children. Upon the death of the parents, they inherit the wealth of the parents, hence, more children is better for the world where ever they can be supported. This is the truth, insomuch as we recognize that holding vast amounts of resources is detrimental to society.

There is a God, who creates us and our children, so if there was no God we would not be here to answer this question, and you would not be here to ask it.

*sarcastic* Oh, my goodness, no! What would be the point!

Geez, having kids has nothing to do with that. We have kids because we want life to continue and because we love our children. Why else would anyone have a child?

My relationship with God has nothing to do with it.

According to you, there is no God. So why do atheists have children?

God is the power of creation, so whether or not someone believes in god is irrelevant to the belief in creation.

I am Christian because there is a God. Your question does not make sense. Merry Christmas!
